Why this notice exists

Magic Box wants sourcing and production claims to mean something.

We distinguish between information supported by our records and claims we have not established.

Arizona origin labels

Where supported by our records:

Arizona grown means produce identified as grown in Arizona.

Arizona raised means an animal product identified as coming from animals raised in Arizona.

Arizona made means a product identified as made or prepared in Arizona.

It does not necessarily mean every ingredient originated in Arizona.

If an origin label does not appear, Magic Box is not making that origin claim.

Supplier food

For food purchased from farms, producers, manufacturers or distributors, Magic Box bases sourcing and production claims on information and documentation supplied by or obtained about the relevant source.

Magic Box does not manufacture ordinary supplier food merely because it places it into a Magic Box delivery carton.

Organic

Magic Box will use an organic claim only where we have adequate documentation supporting that claim and the claim is appropriate to the product as presented.

An individual organic ingredient does not automatically mean that a multi-ingredient finished Magic Box product may itself be marketed as organic.

Grass-fed, grass-finished, pasture-raised and similar claims

We display these claims only where our supplier or source records provide reasonable support for the claim.

A missing badge means Magic Box is not making that claim.

It does not necessarily mean the opposite is true.

Non-GMO and similar production claims

Magic Box will not display a Non-GMO or similar production-method claim merely because we assume it is true.

We require appropriate source information or documentation before presenting the claim.

Magic Box-made products

Claims about Magic Box Raw, Magic Box Coffee or other Magic Box-made products will be based on the actual ingredients, production method and documentation applicable to that specific product.

We will not convert an ingredient-level certification into a finished-product claim unless the finished product is entitled to that claim.

Health claims

Magic Box does not intend ordinary sourcing labels such as local, organic, grass-fed or pasture-raised to promise that a product will prevent, treat or cure disease.

Product marketing must not imply unsupported medical or health outcomes.

Supplier changes

Suppliers and product formulations can change.

A claim displayed for one source or version of a product should not be assumed to apply automatically to a different source.

Corrections

If you believe sourcing or product information displayed by Magic Box is inaccurate, contact support@magic-box.co.

We will review the source information and correct verified errors.
